Yeah it's ages ago that we updated this site, sorry for that! Olav is currently working on a new site. And maybe that's one of the reasons that we have not posted a lot on this current site. Anyway let's hope that we can put the new site on line real soon. What's up with SEEIN RED? Well we played quite lot of shows lately and we finalized some split-record projects. The split EP with HAMMER is out for some time now (on the ARMAGEDDON LABEL) and it got good reviews. Also just out is the Split LP with F.P.O. (a split release of 625 thrash & SELFISH SATAN recordings). REFUSE records from Poland will release the CD version of this record and it will contain extra video footage, and a booklet with not only lyrics but also band essays & extra artwork/photos, so watch out for that too! Our song we did record for the MRR comp lp did not make it on there, but you can find it on the split LP with FPO.  As you know we did have a few other split projects in the can as well, but now we know that most of them will not come out like the split 12" with Yaphet Kotto, the split EP with Discarga, The split EP with Giant Haystack etc, all for the obvious punk reasons: bands broke up, no money, no real intrest etc. In fact we have more or less decided to do less split project in the coming future. Although we are currently working on 2 split projects: A split EP with FRAMTID, and a split 10" with MIHOEN! Both records will hopefully be out before or in the summer of 2007. And later this year we hope to do a SEEIN RED 10".

Another surprize that did come across our path, is the fact that an old punk buddy from the LARM-era, Jerry Goossens (who then played in RED RIOT & ECHTE BOTER GVD, and maybe you know him as the co-writer of the dutch punkbook " het gejuig was massaal", or his collumns in the AD etc), has the intention to make a documentary about SEEIN RED/LARM. Together with Camera-man Boris, he will film concerts & do interviews etc. We keep you posted on that.

Also just out are the 2 EP's of our former band LARM, a split re-release on WAY BACK WHEN and SHORTFUSE records, in the original sleeves and with the original lyricsheets & artwork. Both labels have done a fucking good job and beside that the records never sounded better. Talking about LARM: We have done another concert in the original line up ,on February 23th,  in the occi Amsterdam, on Reinco's 10 year straight edge anniversary, and it was a blast. But sadly enough some days after this concert Olav got really ill, and it turned out that he got a severe pneumonia and a enteritis. It means that he can't play the drums for at least 6 weeks (the healing of the lungs will take 6 weeks and in those 6 weeks he's forbidden to strain himself, so that means: no drumming!). After this 6 weeks the doctors will check out Olav's lungs and then we will see what happens. In the meantime we did cancel all our upcoming concerts in March, April & may. Hopefully we will be back soon.

10 December 2005

Not much news, we are taking it easy and don't do much shows. We are mainly
working on new songs. The Dutch songs for the split with DISCARGA are almost
ready to record, hopefully in January we can record them.
We also decided that we will do RONDOS songs for our split with GIANT HAY-
STACKS. And there's a split LP with BURY THE LIVING coming your way as well so
we really have to practice a fucking lot the coming weeks. Although we already got
a bunch of new songs.
The split LP with YAPHET KOTTO is still not out yet....will it ever be???
Because Council records called it quits and they were supposed to release that record.
We'll see what the future will bring, but if it takes too long (this drama is already
taking more than 2 years) than we might decide to release our stuff as an EP or
10" ourselves.
The 2 shows with Morser were fucking great. Especially the concert in Bremen was
awesome.
Coming up is a 3 Day-German-Tour with HELLSTROM & SANGRE and these are the
dates:

And in 2006 we will play the ACU in Utregt on Miriam's last show with MALKOVICH
(see flyer!).

23 oktober 2005.

Well that's quite a long time ago that we updated our site but you know how it goes.
Actually we are working on a new site but that's not ready yet.

We toured the USA with BURY THE LIVING & KRIEGSTANZ, and it was a blast. We did
24 shows in 23 days and most shows were really good. The guys of BURY THE LIVING
did a great job by organizing the tour, driving SEEIN RED & KRIEGSTANZ around in
their vans and letting us play on their backline & instruments. True fucking punks!
And BURY THE LIVING are a fucking great band that play a powerfull brand of fast
and thrashing hardcore punk with political lyrics, and they were one of the few bands
on this tour that spoke out during their set. They will tour Europe in 2006 go see 'em!
Soon we will put photos etc of the USA tour on our (new) site.

Back in Holland we were really tired, 24 shows in 23 days was quite heavy for a bunch
of old punks, plus the summerheat during the whole tour had taken its toll from us as well.
So we didn't do that much, in fact we decided to take it slow for a couple of months.
Though we did play shows with FUCKED UP & ANTIDOTE in Amsterdam,
The Ieper Fest in Belgium and the "crust-fest" in Weert.

We recorded "the power of music" for the MRR comp and currently we are working on a lot of new songs.
In fact the future might bring you a lot of split EP's of SEEIN RED with bands like DISCARGA, RUIDO, E-150,
BURY THE LIVING, GIANT HAYSTACKS & SANGRE. But up till now the split with DISCARGA is the only one
really in the making (Discarga gonna record their songs in January 2006).

The LP "We need to do more than just music" on Ebullition is out some time now and everything
is going really swell. We got a lot of good reactions from people who bought the album
and got some good reviews as well.

Up next are 2 shows with MÖRSER celebrating their 10 year existance!
4 NOVEMBER in GRONINGEN - BARLEDUC Zuiderdiep 90
5 NOVEMBER in BREMEN
We also gonna do a 3 day tour with HELLSTRÖM & SANGRE in December in Germany stay tuned for the dates.

30 june

We got the test pressing in of the Ebullition lp and the record sounds good.
So now it's in production so wait and see. The lp has been on the turntable
a lot these days and we think it's a solid seein'red record. And because
we recorded this lp ourselves it has a d.i.y. punksound to it, very simple
and direct...and the result is almost as good as any studio we have been in.

The Lärm reunion show at the trashfest turned out really good, we were pretty
fucking nervous(....we only did pratice twice) but we hardly made any mistakes.
In fact in the old days our shows were far more chaotic but this time we played
fast, tight and in tune! It was better than we expected...and we got a great
response from the crowd. Good vibrations!!!! For photos and a video-clip of the
show check out:
www.trashfest.nl  . Many thanks go out to Menno, it was awesome
dude! See you in court.

Yesterday we played our farewell/kick off show in the ACU utrecht which was turned
into a benefit show for the Amsterdamse arrestanten groep. This concert was a blast
all bands played great sets and we raised a fucking 350 euros for the cause! Yeah
sometimes punk is more than music.

O.k. in about 24 hours we fly to the USA. Really looking forward to this tour!

Our first concert after the tour will be 18 August in Amsterdam (see flyer!!)

19 june

Things are going fast now; Kent just e-mailed us that he will send the test-
pressing of our new LP, so in a few days we will know how the recordings will
sound on vinyl. Really looking forward to that.
By the way: The JAPAN tour was fucking awesome!!!!, we had a real great time
in the land of the rising sun. We played great shows, with lots of really good
Japanese punk/hc bands and we played some of our best shows. The
punks went wild and were very enthousiastic. One of our best tours ever!
Thanxxx to all the Japanese bands, clubs and people who made this tour
possible and many special thanks to Kaori, Toshio, Takashi & Shingo!
Soon we will put a tour-report + photos on line...but please be patient, we
are, as always, busy working on our upcoming USA tour etc.

And maybe you know by now that we will do a LÄRM reunion show on the
Trashfest-Hoogeveen(for more info: www.trashfest.nl ). And this time in the
original line-up!! Yeah right, Menno will join us again after a nearly 15 fucking
or so. In fact 5 june and 19 june we did 2 practice sessions with Menno and
it was just unbelievable, almost unreal, but it was like if we split up 3 weeks
ago, because everything went really well. It was like bringing home the old
Lärm spirit. It was just great to meet up with Menno and see that we all still
share the same ideas and humor etc. Anyway see you at the trashfest!(As far
as we know, it seems to be sold out!).

The split EP with HAMMER will be out soon, all the music & artwork has been
send away...it will contain 2 old songs from the "öpstand split" session and
1 song we recorded a while back in Hilversum while recording the split LP
with YAPHET KOTTO (that record is still not out....yeah it remains a drama,
but according to Council Records it will come out some time-some day; we
will keep our fingers crossed!).

Next up the USA tour....but we will give a "goodbye" or "usa kick off" concert
at the ACU in UTRECHT: WEDNESDAY 29 June with KRIEGSTANZ, SEEIN RED
& MAKILADORES.

After the tour we will have some concerts lined up: In August in the OCCI Amsterdam
with FUCKED UP and ANTIDOTE, and we will play the IEPERFEST. In September we
play WEERT and maybe Spain. And in November we probably play 2 shows with
MÖRSER....so stay tuned for more info about these shows.

16 june

Finally we send the master and artwork to Kent/Ebullition for releasing our new record.
Hopefully out before the usa tour starts.
A lot of people asked us why we don't play the Westcoast? We only have 23 days so we
decided only to do one coast. We also won't make it to Florida for the third time and that
really sucks, but somehow it never works out to get there. Sorry.
